Start your trial: test companycore for 3 days

Time needed: about 5 minutes. You need: a payment method and your material from the checklist in Step 1. The 3 days start running as soon as you complete the checkout, so only start once you have time.

Why does the trial come before everything else?

Without a plan you can look at everything, but you can’t create, analyze or schedule anything. A bar at the top permanently shows “Test for 3 days without paying. After that your plan continues automatically.” with the button Choose a plan. The CI analysis also only starts with the trial. The onboarding says: “We analyse them once your trial is running”.

How do you start the trial?

Only the owner sees the Billing tab. Whoever signed up themselves is the owner.

1. Open Billing. Go to Settings › Billing. Choose a plan in the bar at the top and Start the trial in Backstage lead to the same page.
2. Read “How your start works”. On your first visit, a window appears with the badge “3 days” and three stages (table below). Choose a plan leads to the plan selection, Look around first closes the window.
3. Choose a plan. Click Choose plan on the plan that suits you.
4. Add a payment method. companycore sends you to the German-language Stripe checkout. There you add a payment method. It’s required, even for the trial. You can optionally enter a company name and VAT ID. The checkout only asks for an address if it’s missing under Settings › Company details. You enter a coupon code in the checkout.
5. Back in the app. After “Processing your payment …”, you see “Your trial is running — 3 days of full access. After that you are charged automatically unless you end it first.” A little over a second later, the app switches to Backstage.

If you cancel in the checkout, the app says “Checkout cancelled — nothing was booked.” Then just click Choose plan again. If confirmation takes longer, the app tells you so. Reload the page in a minute.

Which plan should you choose?

All prices are excl. VAT, and every plan can be cancelled monthly. Current prices are on companycore.ai/en/pricing, with details in Plans and pricing. Starter is enough for this course. If you need several users or two brands from the start, choose Pro.

What applies during the trial?

• You get the feature set of the plan you chose, for example team and two brands with Pro.
• The quotas are reduced. Under Settings › Usage, the app says “Reduced during the trial.” and: “Quotas are prorated — 3 of 30 days, based on the Starter allowance.” This applies to every plan. With your first paid month, the full quota of your plan applies.
• You get exactly one CI analysis. Collect your material beforehand, as described in Step 4.
• The trial is available once per organization. If you end it and come back later, you pay from day one.
• The remaining time is shown on the plan card (“Trial ends on … · … days left”) and at the bottom of the sidebar (“Trial · 2 days left”).

How do you end the trial?

1. Open the plan card. Go to Settings › Billing.
2. Click End trial. The “Cancel plan” dialog opens. It says: “Your plan stays fully usable until …, then ends. You can undo the cancellation any time before that.”
3. Click Cancel at period end. The app confirms with “Cancelled — your plan continues until the end of the period.”

The plan card then shows the badge “Ending”. Until the end, you can keep using companycore, and nothing is charged. With Undo cancellation, you reverse the step. According to the terms and conditions, anyone who cancels during the trial pays nothing. Posts that are still scheduled after the end aren’t published without an active plan. Can you test without payment details?

Not through self-service. A payment method is required, even for the trial. companycore sets up a custom trial period without payment details on request: through the form on companycore.ai/en/free-trial or by email to jan@companycore.ai. This period appears in the app as the badge “Trial period” and ends on its own without turning into a subscription.
