Usage and quotas: what counts toward what?
Every plan includes monthly quotas for AI texts, images and analyses. As the owner, you can see how much you’ve used under Settings › Usage. The counters reset on the 1st of every month.
Where do I see my usage?
Under Settings › Usage. Only the owner sees the tab. It says: “What you have used this month — and what your plan allows.” Each card shows “used / limit” and a bar. The bar turns yellow from 80% and red at the limit.
What counts toward what?
The Usage page shows eight counters. Five have a monthly limit, three are tracked without a limit.

Color grading in the Visual Designer, copying a slide with different texts and everything you edit by hand are free. They don’t use up any quota.
How much your plan includes depends on the plan. The number that applies is the one after the slash in the app, for example at Image generations. For an overview of the plans, see Plans, pricing and invoices.
When do the counters reset?
On the 1st of every calendar month, not on your billing day. The date is at the bottom of the page: “Counters reset on ….” A job is counted as soon as it finishes successfully, even if you don’t use the result later. Running jobs are already counted toward the limit.
Reset on the 1st of the month
If you signed up on the 20th, your counter still resets on the 1st of the following month, not on the 20th.
Yes. All quotas apply to the whole organization, not per brand. If you have several brands, the counters say “All brands combined”. So one brand can use up the quota of the others. More about brands in Invite your team, assign roles and manage brands.
What applies during the trial?
During the trial you get the full feature set of the plan you chose, but reduced quotas. The app explains: “Reduced during the trial. Quotas are prorated — 3 of 30 days, based on the Starter allowance. From your first paid month the full quota of your plan applies.” This also applies if you try Pro or Max.
During the trial you get exactly one brand analysis

What happens when the limit is reached?
A message appears: “Your monthly allowance is used up”, followed in parentheses by the count and the sentence “It resets next month.” For the brand analysis it reads “CI analysis limit reached” and “Available again next month.” You have three options:
- Wait until the 1st. Then the counters reset.
- Choose a bigger plan. For an overview, see Plans, pricing and invoices.
- Get in touch. You can’t buy more quota in the app, and there’s no button for it. If needed, write to jan@companycore.ai.
If only Web searches (core) is used up, core stops researching the web. The chat with core stays usable. If a button is completely locked and the bar at the top says “Pick a plan to keep working.”, Creating is locked helps.
How do I save quota?
- Collect material before the analysis. Website, logo, documents and reference images first, then a single run is enough.
- Change color with Color grading. Brightness, contrast, saturation and warmth take effect immediately and cost no image generation.
- Use Keep look. The switch above Generate now locks in the medium, colors and light of the current image; a new topic is created in the same look. That saves retries while you search for the right style.
- Bundle your change requests. Every message to core and every Rewrite counts as an AI text run. So put several changes into one message instead of sending them one by one.
Frequently asked questions about quotas
How many images and texts does my plan include?
That depends on the plan. The number that applies is the one after the slash in the app under Settings › Usage, for example at Image generations.
Can I buy more quota?
Not in the app. If needed, write to jan@companycore.ai or switch to a bigger plan.
Why don’t I see the “Usage” tab?
Only the owner sees it. The tab belongs to Billing. Ask the owner for the numbers.
What does the message “jobs are still running” mean?
The message reads “… jobs are still running. Hang on until they finish.” (The German interface shows it in English too.) It means jobs, such as images or an analysis, are still running. Wait until they finish, then try again.
