Which plan fits you?

  • You work alone on one brand. Then Starter is enough: one login, one brand. There’s no approval stage; scheduling means “Planned” right away.
  • You want to involve colleagues or run two brands. Pro allows up to 5 users and 2 brands, plus a team area, roles and approvals. How that works is in Invite your team, assign roles and manage brands.
  • You manage several brands or clients. Max offers multiple users and brands and the Client role with client approval. The client only sees the calendar and approves there.
  • You want to hand off your marketing. With Ultra, the companycore team takes over planning, creation and publishing. Ultra starts at €2,500 per month, after an intro call.

How do I choose or switch my plan?

Only the owner can do this. For everyone else, the Billing tab doesn’t exist. If you don’t have a plan yet, you click Choose plan on the card you want and land in Stripe checkout, which Start your trial describes. The steps below only apply if you already have a plan.

  1. Open Billing. Go to Settings › Billing. You can also go directly via app.companycore.ai/settings?tab=billing.
  2. Choose a card. For a different plan, click Switch to this plan. Your current plan shows Your plan and is locked.
  3. Check the amount. The dialog, for example “Switch to Pro?”, shows the amount. It either says “Due now: … This is charged immediately, not with your next invoice.” or “Nothing is charged today. The difference is offset against your balance.”
  4. Click Switch plan. Switch plan triggers the change. The app reports: “Plan changed. The prorated difference is charged right away and appears as an invoice.”
  5. Wait a moment. The interface rebuilds (“Updating your workspace”). New areas are unlocked, and areas outside your new plan disappear.

Careful when switching to a smaller plan

If the smaller plan allows fewer brands or members, companycore deletes the surplus permanently: brands with all content, images and connections, members including their logins, and client accounts. The oldest brands stay. For members, first the owner who triggers the change stays, then other owners, then the members who have been around longest. The app shows you the list beforehand (“Really switch plans?”). With Switch anyway you confirm the deletion. After that comes the dialog with the amount, and only Switch plan carries out the switch. Back up what you need first: How to back up your content.

Payment method, invoices and company details

How do I change my payment method?

Stripe manages your payment method. The Billing page says: “Managed securely by Stripe — we never see or store card details.” The buttons Change, Add and Manage plan open the Stripe customer portal. There you can also update your address and VAT ID.

If you see “The billing portal isn’t reachable right now.” instead, try again later.

Where do I find my invoices?

Under Settings › Billing in the Invoices section. The list shows Date, No., Amount and Status. Every invoice has a PDF to download. Invoices that aren’t paid yet also have Pay now.

Before your first plan, the list is empty (“Invoices start with your first plan.”). During the trial it says “No invoice yet” along with the date the first invoice will come.

How do I enter my company details for invoices?

Under Settings › Company details. There you maintain Company name (billing name), VAT ID and Billing email. In the Billing address section come Street & number, Address line 2 (optional), ZIP code, City and Country. The choices are Germany, Austria, Switzerland and “Other country” with a two-letter country code, for example FR. Only the owner can save. Everyone else sees: “Only the organization owner can change these details.”

Company name is not the same as brand name

If the address is complete, Stripe checkout doesn’t ask for it again. Don’t mix up the Company name (billing name) with the Brand name under Backstage › Company: the billing name belongs to the organization, while the brand name belongs to the brand and shows up in posts and in the analysis.

What if the payment fails?

Then the plan card shows the badge Payment due and the banner “There’s a problem with your payment.” Below it says “The last charge failed. Please check your payment method or settle the open invoice.” Your access stays active at first. But the app is clear: “please settle it to keep your access active”.

  1. Open Billing. Go to Settings › Billing.
  2. Check your payment method. With Change you open the Stripe customer portal and update it.
  3. Pay the open invoice. Click Pay now in the banner or in the invoice list.

Sometimes the banner also names the date when Stripe will retry the charge. You can still pay the invoice directly.

Coupons, “Your numbers” and special terms

Are there coupons and discounts?

You enter a coupon code in Stripe checkout when you sign up for the plan. If you come through a partner’s referral link, their discount is applied automatically at checkout. You can’t enter an additional code then. Under Billing you see what applies, such as “You pay … instead of …” and, where relevant, “Came through a referral”.

What does “Your numbers” show?

Further down the Billing page you find Your numbers: Total invested, Avg per month, Invoices paid, Customer since and a chart with your spending over the last 12 months. The app also calculates how much you save compared with before. The basis is the figures you entered during onboarding under “What does social media cost you today?”. Only you see them, and you can change them at any time with Adjust.

Custom terms and custom invoices

For custom terms or special services, write to jan@companycore.ai. Custom invoices appear automatically in the invoice list and carry the label “Custom invoice”. For Ultra, you arrange an intro call first.
